I think it will be a very interesting class. I had a few good laughs, and it's cool to see some familiar faces in the class. It's gonna be interesting to see what's gonna make people puke lol, or maybe not.
Matt - about flipbook: This was a very clever way to execute the assignment, although I wish it was easier to flip. A lovely tour of our part of tampa! It's probably a personal preference due to my artistic style, but I would have loved to see more living creatures in the photos, rather than just buildings and cars, if just for one photo. Either way, very original and well executed.
Sorry, I messed up on my previous critique. My spelling had alot of errors. Now it should be fixed.
Anyhow I liked the picture slideshow flipbook, especially since it was unique. Just a little hard to turn the pages and get pictures in sync.
But your focal points were good. The pictures makes me feel like I am riding shotgun in the car.
Only suggestion I could make with your project is try creating a diagonal camera shot so it would change the pictures in a clockwork manner. it would end up being frontal view, diagonal view, and sideview. We then could see all angles of view. Just my opinion.
Good work though, I like the book you used, which adds history and tone of color.
Good to meet you Matt.
